Description
An eye-catching carnivorous plant with tall, tubular pitchers. Naturally traps insects and thrives in bright, light-filled spaces.
Not pet safe.
Pets: Harmful if eaten.
REPOTTING
- Sarracenia prefer to be re-potted in the spring. Only ever go up in grow pot size by one inch or so. Use a special Carnivorous plant compost, low in nutrients.
PLANT CARE
- Prune leaves and remove faded or damaged traps to encourage new growth.
VERVE RECOMMENDS
- Always use rainwater.
- Keep the compost permanently moist for healthy plants.
