Taking care of your plants

Sarracenia
Exposure

Locate me in bright light. Bright light means generally happy with sun hitting my leaves, near a window. Happiest in warm rooms with temperatures of 18-25°C.

Feeding frequency

Never apply plant feed, it will kill me! I'll feed myself with flies.

Repoting

Sarracenia prefer to be re-potted in the spring. Only ever go up in grow pot size by one inch or so. Use a special Carnivorous plant compost, low in nutrients.

Watering frequency

Water me only with rainwater, and keep my compost damp not wet. The chemicals in tap water are toxic to me.
