Taking care of your plants

Polka Dot Plant
Exposure

Locate me in indirect light in rooms with temperatures 18-25º. Avoid direct sun which can scorch my leaves, too low light levels will dull my leaf colour.

Feeding frequency

Feed me once a month during the growing season of Spring/Summer with a good quality general purpose plant feed.

Repoting

Repot in the spring (if plant becomes rootbound) to a grow pot one to two inches larger than the current pot, using a peat-free, general-purpose houseplant compost.

Watering frequency

Water me when the top two inches of my compost feel dry. Keep soil moist but not waterlogged. Always allow excess water to drain before placing me back into my decorative pot. Reduce watering in winter months.
