Taking care of your plants

Taking care of your plants

Homalomena
Exposure

Grows well in bright, indirect light and a warm, sheltered indoor setting with moderate humidity.

Feeding frequency

Feed me once a month during the growing season of Spring/Summer with a good quality general purpose plant feed.

Repoting

Repot in the spring (but only if plant becomes rootbound) to a grow pot one to two inches larger than the current pot, using a peat-free, general-purpose houseplant compost.

Watering frequency

Water me when the top inch of my compost feels dry.  Do not overwater me or allow me to sit in water this will damage my roots. Reduce watering in the winter months, November to March.

Description

Decorative foliage with elegant markings makes this a standout choice. Thrives in warm interiors and brings colour without demanding care.

Not pet safe
