Description

Fishbone Cactus (Epiphyllum anguliger), also known as the Zigzag Cactus, is a striking house plant with uniquely lobed, zigzag-shaped stems. Native to tropical rainforests, it's ideal for hanging planters or shelves and adds a quirky, architectural touch to UK interiors.

Non-toxic and pet-friendly.

PLANTING

  • Use a well-draining, peat-free mix with added orchid bark or perlite.
  • Ensure roots stay aerated and dry between waterings.

PLANT CARE

  • Prune to shape and encourage branching.
  • Wipe stems to remove dust.

VERVE RECOMMENDS

  1. Hang or trail from a shelf for full visual effect.
  2. Avoid harsh sunlight to prevent leaf burn.
  3. Let soil dry slightly before watering again.
  4. Use a chunky, well-aerated soil mix.
